Today started on the right note when I stepped on the scale and saw that my weight had dropped by .7 pounds. It’s possible (err, likely) that this loss is purely coincidental; weight fluctuations are normal and part of why we probably shouldn’t get on the scale each day. For today, though, I’m marking it down as a win and as a sign that this journey is off to a great start.
Breakfast started off just like yesterday: yogurt and eggs. Unlike yesterday, I did have some weird sensations after this meal. About 15 minutes after eating, I had a mild upset stomach and felt sort of dizzy. I generally get out for a 30-45 minute walk immediately after breakfast but decided to stay home until the feelings passed. Luckily, I felt like myself within the hour and was able to get outside to enjoy a brisk walk.
Lunch was (another) sandwich and banana, while dinner was baked chicken meatballs with a side of brown rice, spinach, and feta casserole. I didn’t experience any other side effects throughout the day. So far, so good!
On the TMI front, I did not 💩 today…and I don’t remember if I did yesterday, either! It seems like constipation is a fairly common side effect so I guess time will tell. I think I’d prefer nausea or diarrhea over constipation. Constipation weighs a girl down.
